Henry E. Seaton, Esq.
Henry E. Seaton is a graduate of Duke University (A.B. ’70) and Vanderbilt School of Law (J.D. ’73). He has practiced law for 30 years in the Washington D.C. area representing motor carriers of brokers. He is a member of the Vienna, VA based law firm of Seaton & Husk. The firm specializes in freight claims, freight charge collection, contracting issues, carrier representation before the FMCSA and bankruptcy issues.
Mr. Seaton writes a monthly column on transportation law for the Commercial Carrier Journal (CCJ) and is the author of Protecting Motor Carrier Interests in Contracts. He serves as commerce counsel for the National Association of Small Trucking Companies. He was the Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Professional of the Year in 2001 and is a frequent speaker and lecturer regarding cargo claims, freight charges, contracting and risk/insurance issues effecting carriers and brokers. Stuart Sutton, President of GPSNet Technologies, Inc.
GPSNet Technologies, Inc. has developed one of the leading dispatch software products in North America. He graduated with an Honors Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo in 1981 and then returned to school after several years of work to get his Masters of Business Administration (Finance) in 1991 from the University of Windsor (Deans Honor Roll). He has worked in the automotive (General Motors), Natural Gas Distribution, Warehousing and Construction industries before joining an Expedited trucking company in 1995 as their VP of Information Technology. In 2001 he co-founded GPSNet Technologies Inc. which provides integrated dispatch productivity technology solutions to transportation companies throughout North America.
Deborah Dent, Director of Compliance and Customs
Debbie joined Panalpina Inc., in Canada, June 1st, 2006 after owning her own company, D. Dent & Associates for eight years. D. Dent & Associates was well recognized as “The Border Experts”. As Director of Compliance and Customs for Canada she is responsible for leading a team of experts, specializing in highway customs program solutions such as F.A.S.T., ACE and ACI.
Debbie brings more than 30 years Canadian/U.S. cross-border experience and is a certified specialists, holding several levels of licensing and professional designations within the transportation/customs industry.
Debbie is an active Past President of Windsor Transportation Club, 2004 recipient of the Terry Delaney Memorial Award, Past Director of the Association of International Border Agencies (AIBA), and actively supports membership in ITLF, THASO, The Transportation Club of Detroit & several other community and business organizations.
